Description martinsmith 2019-12-23 08:16:41 UTC
The term “skills gap” is only too familiar to those within the cybersecurity industry. A recent ISACA survey found only 18% of respondents said they believed the cybersecurity skills gap are going to be mostly or entirely filled during the upcoming decade, while 81% said companies aren’t investing enough within the people skills needed to navigate technological change. The talent shortage, including the increasing volume of threats and therefore the changing cybercrime landscape, presents a drag which is merely getting worse. One initiative that McAfee is investing heavily in is education, and in September of this year, we expanded our work as a founding partner of the new Master of Cybersecurity and Threat Intelligence at the University of Guelph. visit@-

In September, McAfee Chief Marketing Officer Allison Cerra released her latest book, The Cybersecurity Playbook, which pulls from her experiences as CMO and incorporates straightforward assessments, adaptable action plans, and lots of current examples to supply practical recommendations for cybersecurity policies. -in from the highest, promoting effective daily security routines, and safeguarding vital resources. Strong cybersecurity is not any longer the only responsibility of IT departments, but that of each executive, manager, and employee—so Cerra’s book provides practical to-dos for those at every level.
