Description ken graebe 2019-11-16 01:54:35 UTC
Description:
The text in question is liberation sans narrow & AHRONI. the LSN card playing card symbols (club diamond heart & spade) are not rotated. the white #'s within a colored solid circle from the symbol or wingdings fonts are not rotated. the purpose of rotation is to fold between 2 counter rotated tables creating the equivalent of a conference table name card which is legible from any direction. The non existent 180 degree rotation would have simplified the problem. PS I'm not sure which version of 6.4 I'm using & am using it only because I was unable to install recent versions of 6.3. I have no clue as to the meaning of opengl.

Steps to Reproduce:
rotate a table that includes the special characters previously indicated.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
the text is & special characters aren't rotated

Expected Results:
common sense rotation of everything

Reproducible: Always

"rotate a table" is not possible in Writer. So please describe more exact what you are doing and please attach an example document.
Comment 2 ken graebe 2019-11-18 15:55:53 UTC
sorry. my terminology was wrong. I successfully rotated the content of a table rather than the table itself. this was a wasted effort as the result included:
1. non rotated special characters which included numerals
2. distortion of the indention of lines which were centered rather than left justified
3. gross changes to the table's size & shape
4. the inability to rectify #3
5. the inability to move that table

i will use scissors & scotch tape to create a 2 sided placard.

thanks for the prompt response
