Description kitchm 2019-09-04 14:53:10 UTC
Whenever the user chooses Split, it cancels a previously set freeze, and vice versa.
Comment 1 Oliver Brinzing 2019-09-05 17:19:59 UTC
Thank you for reporting the bug.

Can you please tell, why you think this behaviour is a bug?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'.
Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once the requested info is provided.
Comment 2 kitchm 2019-09-06 14:30:28 UTC
I would think it is obvious. The two functions are different, and as such one should not affect the other.
Comment 3 Timur 2020-09-03 07:28:32 UTC
Documentation is not explicit, https://help.libreoffice.org/7.1/en-US/text/scalc/01/07080000.html and https://help.libreoffice.org/7.1/en-US/text/scalc/guide/line_fix.html but more inclines that this should be used interchangeably.
So this is enhancement request, low priority.

I tried MSO, it also cancels Split after Freeze.

I set Wont Fix. Adding UX for additional review.
Comment 4 Timur 2020-09-03 07:30:05 UTC
OK, I change my mind, I convert this to Documentation to say explicitly that split and freeze cannot be used at the same time.

Agreed
Comment 6 kitchm 2020-09-03 15:41:46 UTC Comment hidden (obsolete)
Comment 7 kitchm 2020-09-03 15:43:03 UTC
Okay, I get it. "split and freeze cannot be used at the same time". It is a feature, and not an inability to make both work at the same time.

Thank you for the clarification.
