Release notes for the latest version of LibreOffice include a section about the Android viewer citing "new" features that were released > 6 months ago.

This section should be updated to reflect the current status of the Android viewer, possibly a link to a roadmap for upcoming versions.

It also seems the FDroid and GPlay versions are not the same, as they were released at different times.

Release Notes for Android Viewer 6.2 -> https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/6.2#Android_Viewer which hasn't been released yet

Cloph: update is planned soon, but not before mid next week (might have a version in the beta/alpha testing this WE though )

Since this is not a software issue, I'm closing it as RESOLVED WONTFIX
