Description MING-LI JIANG 2018-07-07 02:53:42 UTC
Description:
dBase files can only be imported and cannot be associated with multiple tables.

Actual Results:
LibreOffice Base adds dBase (.DBF) file but cannot associate multiple data tables.

Expected Results:
I hope to refer to the external data link function of Microsoft Office Access, so that LibreOffice Base can be as powerful as Microsoft Office Access!

Reproducible: Always

This is a known limitation of LibreOffice Base, it was present even in StarOffice, and subsequently OpenOffice.org. There may even be an existing bug report for this in bugzilla, but I haven't looked.

I too, would like this to be a possibility, but it would probably require extensive rework of the sdbc-DBF driver, which is unlikely to happen unless someone is motivate enough to undertake that work.

However, seems a valid enough request for enhancement to me.

Changing your title though to one that is more precise.
