This bug was filed from the crash reporting server and is br-077540bc-836a-416f-9f3e-1829da90cee4. ========================================= Just installed the new release. I opened an old document (saved with 5.4.1.2) and right clicked on a word missing from the dictionary, then chose "add to dictionary". After recover, the word does not look misspelled any more, but cannot find it in the "edit" dictionary form. Another crash crashreport.libreoffice.org/stats/crash_details/81b2f967-7c83-4a97-8fae-5b0f0b2c2e6b was obtained in the same way, but choosing Add to dictionary on the button in the spelling form, rather than right-clicking on text.

To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and re-test?
It must be something at my desk. I tried with a new document and got a similar crash: crashreport.libreoffice.org/stats/crash_details/5851d2bf-07db-4477-a9dd-fb2ebf8b2a14 I don't add that document as I just lost it. After resetting user profile, no crash doing the same operation. So yes, it was some kind of corruption in the profile. Profile data is really huge (5704468 bytes zipped), I don't think I'm going to check what was corrupted... Ciao Ale
Thanks for retesting. Sometimes it happens after updating to a newer version.
