Description:
Hi,

today I wanted to add an IF-Function to a table in document (using LibreOffice Writer) and realized that it is not working. I only get a "Expression is faulty" (in german "Fehlerhafter Ausdruck").

Would be great being able to use all the functions known from Calc in the Writer.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a table to your writer document with some data
2. Add a IF-Function to this table
3. You get an error message

Actual Results:
Error message

Expected Results:
Working function

Reproducible: Always

Writer does not have an IF function in tables. Available is only a subset of functions, listed when you click the function (fx) icon after having typed = in a table cell.

Shall I open a new (bug) report for a feature request (this was what this report was mentioned for).

I doubt anyone wants to implement more sophisticated functions for Writer tables. If you need spreadsheet functionality then use a Calc spreadsheet and copy&paste the relevant selected cells as Calc object to Writer to create an embedded spreadsheet excerpt.
