Description:
.html file does not list and open in libreoffice viewer.

Steps to Reproduce:
i am verifying file formats given https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/LibreOffice in libreoffice viewer.

updating my findings at https://github.com/kr1shnas/qa/projects/24.

download and open http://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/sw/qa/core/data/html/pass/EDB-35279-1.html

file does not:

[1] list in file browser
[2] open in libreoffice viewer

if the file format HTML (.html, .htm) is not yet supported, i request you to add.

Is this issue still relevant?
Supporting more file formats presumably also means that the size of the APK will increase (due to more services that will have to be included), so I tend to suggest focusing on those that are particularly relevant.

For viewing HTML files, each Android device presumably comes with a browser. Is support in Android Viewer useful beyond that (e.g. to edit files?)?
