You could try getting a backtrace of the crash: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information

Hello Xinan, *,
thank you very much for reporting this bug :) However, I am not able to reproduce it with

OS: Debian Testing AMD64
LO: Version: 5.2.3.3
Build-ID: 1:5.2.3-2
CPU-Threads: 4; BS-Version: Linux 4.5; UI-Render: Standard; VCL: x11;
Gebietsschema: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); Calc: group
(Debian's own version)

nor with

LO: Version: 5.2.3.3
Build-ID: d54a8868f08a7b39642414cf2c8ef2f228f780cf
CPU-Threads: 4; BS-Version: Linux 4.5; UI-Render: Standard;
Gebietsschema: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); Calc: group
(parallel installed, following the instructions from https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel/Linux)

Though the latter seems much slower in inserting and showing the frame for the inserted audio or video file, it does not crash ... ;) Which LO version are you using: ours or the one from Fedora? If the latter, you should report your bug at http://bugzilla.redhat.com/ ... ;)
HTH
Thomas.

Do you reproduce this with any video file? (whatever the video format?)

Would it be possible you upgrade to last stable LO version 5.2.4?

Would it be possible to retrieve a backtrace by following advice from https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information#GNU.2FLinux:_How_to_get_a_backtrace as already requested by Buovjaga?
