And not just in columns of frames. Paragraphs of ordinary text vanish, leaving blank holes.
I don't have the patience to look for other reports but both bold and italics vanish with saving.
I'm having to save everything in .pdf and am about to go through the roof (or leave Libre Office for ever)

@Juliette,

Sorry you're having issues. Unfortunately we'd need additional details about your apparent data loss.

What OS and Desktop Environment?

What Graphics card or GPU?

Which LibreOffice component--Writer, Impress, Calc?

We'd need your specific steps to reproduce (STR), and it would be helpful if you provide sample document(s) for us to be able to consistently recreate your issue.

Hmm, so are you also saying that you are experiencing issue of bug 94182

That is very specific corner case and appears to be limited to saving MS Word 2003 XML format .docx (non-OOXML) to a OneDrive resource.

Noticing you use 5.0.0.5, thought it could be interesting you give a try to 5.0.4.
Also, considering the impact of this problem, think about making backups (if it's not already the case).
