Thanks for bugreport When in Formula editor, try this: Format->Fonts, in dialog "Fonts" press "Modify", select "Variables" and remove tick from "Italic" Sorry if I not understand problem Now I understand: settings of previous comment not saved when we close current formula and create new. Reproduced in 3.3.4 and 3.5.2 on Fedora 64 bit Changing to version 3.3.4 as most early reproducible Is that a bug report or enhancement request? Still esisting with 4.x? "I can not" ist not a valid instruction how to reproduce. @sasha: You understood this one, can you contribute a short step by step instruction? In 4.0.0 not implemented yet (problem reproducible) on RFR17 64bit Steps to reproduce: 0. Start Writer 1. Insert->Object->Formula 2. Enter some characters. (now they are italic) 3. Format->Fonts, in dialog "Fonts" press "Modify", select "Variables" and remove tick from "Italic" (Characters become without italic) 4. Click somewhere in document to exit formula editor 5. Repeat steps 1 and 2 Expected: characters remain non-italic (settings remains from previous time) Actually: characters are italic (setting reset to default happens) Possible workaround: copy-paste formula where fonts are set properly instead of using Insert->Object->Formula Looks like an enhancement request Agreed - marking as NEW and enhancement request. New (confirmed) Enhancement (currently behaved properly, just want it to store last settings upon clicking ok) Low - not a very popular feature, workaround isn't too cumbersome ProposeEasyHack Editing Title: Save Formula Font Style After Pushing Ok + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + LibreOffice is powered by a team of volunteers, every bug is confirmed (triaged) by human beings who mostly give their time for free. We invite you to join our triaging by checking out this link: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugTriage There are also other ways to get involved including with marketing, UX, documentation, and of course developing - http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/. Lastly, good bug reports help tremendously in making the process go smoother, please always provide reproducible steps (even if it seems easy) and attach any and all relevant material In order to limit the confusion between ProposedEasyHack and EasyHack and to make queries much easier we are changing ProposedEasyHack to NeedsDevEval.
