I don't know Allele store but could you give a try to LO 7.5.3 (which is freely provided here: https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download-libreoffice/) + apply https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps#Corrupted_user_profile ? *** Bug 155536 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** (In reply to Telesto from comment #2) > *** Bug 155536 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** @Telesto: thank you for having spotted the dup @Tom: please don't submit bugtrackers identical to previous one. Most of QA for LibreOffice is done by benevolent so no need to create the same with "Urgent" in title, it won't go faster. @Patrick Would you mind to take a peek at the crash report? (In reply to Telesto from comment #4) > @Patrick > Would you mind to take a peek at the crash report? The crash is occurring in +[AquaA11yTextAttributesWrapper createAttributedStringForElement:inOrigRange:] so that tells me native accessibility is enabled. The increasing slowness in Calc when native accessibility is enabled sounds a lot like issue #155376. Calc gets really slow and memory usage increases sharply when native accessibility is enabled. The crash looks like a failure to allocate memory and nearly 1 GB of memory has already been allocated at the time of the crash so I am guessing that the user is running out of memory due to the large amount of memory that Calc's accessibility code uses. I downloaded the latest Libreoffice 7.5.4 on my iMac with M1 CPU, it is a litter bit improved, but frequently closes without crash report, I had to frequently re-open file for recovery, cannot work on my file. [Automated Action] NeedInfo-To-Unconfirmed I recently upgraded much of the macOS native accessibility code to Apple's most current accessibility API (i.e. I replaced NSViews with NSAccessiblityElements) in the master branch. This change reduces memory usage significantly so I am hoping this change also fixes this bug. This change is in the master nightly builds: https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/current.html Note: if LibreOfficeDev won't launch after installation, you may need to invoke a Terminal command: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Testing_Daily_Builds#Using_daily_builds (In reply to Patrick Luby from comment #8) > I recently upgraded much of the macOS native accessibility code to Apple's > most current accessibility API (i.e. I replaced NSViews with > NSAccessiblityElements) in the master branch.
