Eyal, do you also get the bug, if you reopen the file, you've saved as docx? Is it possible for you to remove confidential content? => NEEDINFO (In reply to Dieter from comment #1) > Eyal, do you also get the bug, if you reopen the file, you've saved as docx? I don't think so (although TBH I no longer have it.) > Is it possible for you to remove confidential content? ... only by re-editing the document in LibreOffice, so basically - no. But if someone were to implement this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwHSs6q6S6I (for DOCX'es as well as for ODTs) then maybe I could. [Automated Action] NeedInfo-To-Unconfirmed So I suggest to close it, because steps are not specific enough to reproduce the bug. Created attachment 184914 [details]
rtl footnote odt
saving RTL footnote to docx is broken from long time.
I test it in these cases:
1- saving odt as docx then open it in ms office.
2- saving odt as docx then open it in libre office.
use the attachment to test it
I can confirm both issues with Version: 7.5.0.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: c21113d003cd3efa8c53188764377a8272d9d6de CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB Calc: CL threaded First issue Position in Page Style -> Footnote -> Separator Line changes from right to left (after fielopen) Second issue Text direction in PS Footnote changes from "Use superordinate object settings" to LTR (Filepen not filesafe problem) Since there is one basic rule in bigzilla (one issue, one bug report), we should focus on first problem an open a new report for second problem. (In reply to Dieter from comment #6) > Second issue > Text direction in PS Footnote changes from "Use superordinate object > settings" to LTR (Filepen not filesafe problem) MS Formats do not have "superordinate object settings" - so either right or left is assigned on export. |
