Could you please explain the steps you're following to add the google drive account ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once the question has been answered (In reply to Xisco FaulĂ from comment #1) > Could you please explain the steps you're following to add the google drive > account ? > > I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to > 'UNCONFIRMED' once the question has been answered step) 1) first open LibreOffice writer 2) from file menu open remote 3) add service select google drive add Gmail address and password enter 6 digit pin and also add a master password 4) opening is in progress and show error box, written (general input/output error) I find a solution but it is not perfect, and it indicates that there is a bug in the remote server. I again install libre-6 from DEBS and remote server is work as usual so plz fix this so I can able to use inbuilt office Created attachment 142244 [details]

I get this same problem. I try to add:
File > Open Remote > Add service : Google Drive ... [input user/pass] ...
and get "General input/output error." popup, and no files listed. Google sends me an alert that I've had a new login, so it seems the connection is made.
I'm also on Ubuntu 18.04, using LibO Version: 6.0.3.2
Build ID: 1:6.0.3-0ubuntu1
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8)

I just tried this again in response to seeing this comment -- and before the aggro of an install from DEBs (actually, with GDebi installer, not so much of a pain, I suppose). But it works today. I checked version, thinking something must have updated, but it's the same OS, and the same LibO version. So whatever it might be, opening a file remotely from Google Drive now (well, today!) is working. Ok, great. If mehul still has trouble with Ubuntu's version, they can report to Launchpad. Closing. I check it with default installed Libre office, and it work! Now i am able to ise same remote server in both. As mention by David something must have update in new version And thanks. |
