I use Chart to maintain 2 ordered list of opensource Programs. Then I created a PDF file of that chart et put de PDF file on DropBox.

When I administer friends computers with TeamViewer, I use de PDF file to know which programs to update. If on the remote computer, I find a newer version of a certain program I update locally my LibreOffice chart....

In one tab (tab#2) the programs are sorted by type (system, utilities, ...) on the other tab (tab#1) the programs are sorted by modification date. So I modify on tab#2 the program version and date.

Then I copy all tab#2, then I go on Tab#1 and just when I tried to paste, LibreOffice ends abruptely. This only appends when a active TeamViewer session is running...

I first send this bug to the TeamViewer team and after some research from ther part: «il semble que le problème provienne de LibreOffice, il se peut qu'il y ait un conflit de DLL.»

My DropBox file can be accessed here:
   https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/881013/Logiciels%20-%20versions.pdf

Thanks for helping me.

You could try getting a backtrace of the crash: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/How_to_get_a_backtrace_with_WinDbg

Then you can attach it here.

If you need help in French with the process, you can try the French QA mailing list: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Local_Mailing_Lists#French

No. We just have to wait for devs to get interested. The backtrace might not be very useful, unfortunately :(

Tested on win7 over Teamviewer. I can copy, paste content without crash. I can copy some text from your PDF into LO Calc (on remote computer and also from my PC to remote computer [Linux->windows]).

The actual file (ODS)
Comment 11 Claude Charest 2016-03-29 18:20:25 UTC
Hello,

If i do a single cell Copy-Paste when an active TeamViewer session is running then I do not have the bug, BUT if i do an entire sheet (see the snapshot file «illustration_paste.JPG» attached) Copy-Paste THEN the bug appears !!!

To do that Copy-Paste: I select the entire sheet: [the square at left of A,B,C and at top of 1,2,3] in my #2 sheet and do an COPY (CTRL-C), THEN I go to the #1 sheet, select again the entire sheet and made my Paste (CTRL-V) !!!

I have also attached the ODS file causing this bug («Logiciels - versions démo.ods»).

Also I put the 2 files on my dropbox:
- «Logiciels - versions démo.ods» = https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/881013/Logiciels%20-%20versions%20d%C3%A9mo.ods
- «illustration_paste.JPG» = https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/881013/illustration_paste.JPG

Hope you fill find the bug ...

N.B.: All the Copy-Paste are on my local PC while TeamViewer is running a session on a remote PC...

It looks like TeamViewer somehow mangles the clipboard contents.

Try to disable clipboard sync to see if this has any effect: http://excelinbusiness.kayako.com/Knowledgebase/Article/View/60/0/how-to-avoid-clipboard-issues-with-teamviewer

Clipboardic (a program) might help you see what is happening with clipboard when the teamviewer is running and when it is not to get some clues.

Bonjour,

I disable the clipboard of TeamViewer and now it works: I can Copy and
Paste locally in LibreOffice.

Thanks !
