(In reply to Alan S Kay from comment #0) > Steps to Reproduce: > 1.Open file in app Any file or a specific one? If it is a specific one, please add it as attachment => NEEDINFO Any file, either existing or newly created. Using Microsoft Office Word and Excel file formats. [Automated Action] NeedInfo-To-Unconfirmed Ran HP Scan and Print Doctor. No problems. Downloaded current driver for printer - HP Laserjet 2420. Prints fine with all other applications but crashes when I print from Libre Office. Just started having this problem. Windows 10 Pro is up to date. After crash, have the option to recover the document. Tried Safe Mode but crashes there, too. Alan, which printer do you use? Is it possible for you to add a link to crash report? Printer is an HP LaserJet CP3505n. I could not locate a crash report. However, when I changed the Misc>CrashReport property under org.openoffice.Office.Common from false to true, a Writer file printed normally. Seems to be a very rare crash (regarding to crash signature). Might be related to HP printer. Don't know if previous comments are enough to change status to new. Stephane, what do you think? Alan and Tagalli, it would be great if you could let us know if printing with such HP printers worked as expected before a specific version. Did it start with 7.4.5? What did you upgrade from? Tagalli, please also share the full version information from Help > About LibreOffice. Thank you! (Tagalli, the "Version" field is for the earliest version affected, so please don't update it to more recent versions) Dear Alan S Kay, This bug has been in NEEDINFO status with no change for at least 6 months. Please provide the requested information as soon as possible and mark the bug as UNCONFIRMED. Due to regular bug tracker maintenance, if the bug is still in NEEDINFO status with no change in 30 days the QA team will close the bug as INSUFFICIENTDATA due to lack of needed information. Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! Warm Regards, QA Team MassPing-NeedInfo-Ping Dear Alan S Kay, Please read this message in its entirety before proceeding. Your bug report is being closed as INSUFFICIENTDATA due to inactivity and a lack of information which is needed in order to accurately reproduce and confirm the problem. Please do not: a) respond via email b) update the version field in the bug or any of the other details on the top section of our bug tracker Warm Regards, QA Team MassPing-NeedInfo-FollowUp Because tagalli confirmed with another HP LaserJet in comment 4, I'll mark as new. Alan and tagalli, if you are able to, please update to the latest 7.6 version and let us know if LibreOffice still crashes. Much appreciated. No crashes with 7.6.2.1 (In reply to Alan S Kay from comment #13) > No crashes with 7.6.2.1 Great news, thank you Alan! Marking as "works for me" then, because we don't know which commit fixed it. |
