An image showcasing the bug in Calc tabbed view
I confirm this with: Version: 7.0.3.1 Build ID: d7547858d014d4cf69878db179d326fc3483e082 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.2; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: he-IL (en_IL); UI: en-US Calc: threaded I see this as a symptom of the mis-feature that is the ribbon mode ("tabbed view"). It has seemingly not gotten a lot of attention in implementation considering the missing and oddly-placed buttons, of which this is a prominent example. And devoting this time may not be a sound investment of developer resources. Reconfirmed with: Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha0+ / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 250e4886d85a7e131da76f181b3fa7be02d1a76d CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.10; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-IL (en_IL); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Justin Luth committed a patch related to this issue. It has been pushed to "master": https://git.libreoffice.org/core/commit/c108089ef4b58da819fb0acd372cd66e9684f3b8 tdf#138440 sc notebookbar: add right-to-left to home tab It will be available in 24.2.0. The patch should be included in the daily builds available at https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/ in the next 24-48 hours. More information about daily builds can be found at: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Testing_Daily_Builds Affected users are encouraged to test the fix and report feedback. |
