Please add a command in the Customize dialog that makes it possible to edit an existing concordance file for an alphabetical index.

Now the way to access the Edit Concordance File dialog is very long:
1. Right-click on an alphabetical index.
2. Go to 'Type' tab.
3. Click on 'File' button.
4. Choose 'Edit...'.

It will be much faster if a command exists that can be added to a context menu or or to a keyboard shortcut.

Insert > Table of Contents > (Alphabetical Index) > File > Edit - that's not too long for a function almost out of scope (editing concordance terms). I don't see need to have it in the context menu. 
If you talk about merging this file somehow with index entries, maybe.

Have to adjust the summary again. The UNO command should allow customization of ToC > Edit Concordance File.

Thanks for the corrections, Heiko.

As it's the only way to open and edit the Concordance file within the LibreOffice GUI, I find it a long way to go. I stumbled over that while setting up this file piece by piece for machine instructions.

In default this command need not to be added somewhere in the GUI. It should only be available for customization purpose so that users--who want to edit it faster--can assign a button or menu item or keyboard shortcut to it.

We discussed the request in the design meeting and came to the conclusion of WFM because a) it's not a contextual workflow, and b) concordance files are seldom edited. Please reopen if the is a clear use case like "I open the concordance file 5 times the day to achieve..."
