Description Tin Man 2013-02-17 13:13:40 UTC
LibreOffice currently uses combo boxes for its style and font pickers in the toolbar.
Given that the actionable area for displaying the dropdown occupies just a small portion of the combo box, it would be nice if the combo boxes were made into dropdown buttons to maximize the clickable area. A focused text box could be the first item in the dropdown, to make up for the original combo box functionality (perhaps like https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/File:F-list.png).

Has this already gone through UX convo? If so can we get a link to the thread. Thanks!

Marking as NEEDINFO, just need to know if you've discussed this through the UX mailing thread. If not, I suggest doing this and letting the conversation determine the outcome. If they decide to move forward with the suggestion, we can mark this as NEW.

Nevermind, see https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=73068 instead.
