ms

After importing a MS Word 2010 document with images that are cutted in Word internaly the writer doesn't show this cutting step on the images.
The second problemis the drawing primitives overlayed to an image are slightly wrong positioned and the position between the drawing primitives and the underlying image are relatively moved. Sometimes the order is wrong (image underneath the drawing primitives, sometimes the image is over the drawing primitives.

Ok, by cutting you mean cropping :)

I found a similar issue about cropping: bug 37315

You should create a separate issue for the wrong position of the lines. Then you can link to it in a comment saying "bug xxxxx"
