Description CassieLX 2015-11-11 21:28:18 UTC
1. Draw a line or a polygon into a calc sheet.
2. select the object
3. click on "points" edit mode

normally the button "insert points" should appear and if you click this button you can add additional points to the line or polygon.

This works in writer, impress and draw but NOT in calc.

Does simply the button not showing up?

Yes calc has no ability to modify line/polyline points.

The 'Edit Points' toolbar provides various functionality to add, move, and delete points on a line.

The toolbar is activated in Impress and Draw through the Edit menu, View > Toolbar, Drawing toolbar, as well as in the shape context menu.

In Writer, the toolbar is only activateable through the Drawing toolbar.

@Maxim, @Bubli: Any ideas why Calc was left out from this.

No idea, but hard to believe there is some real reason why it can't be implemented in Calc.
