Description chris_debian 2015-05-28 12:01:38 UTC
I had Libreoffice Viewer v4.5Alpha installed from Google Play repository. I have just received a Libreoffice newsletter and followed the link to v5.0Alpha in the Play store. I successfully downloaded and installed the application, but to my surprise it did not replace the earlier Alpha.

Is this expected behaviour?

Hope this helps.

Chris

Well, it may be an unintended side effect of the app’s vendor change… Thanks for reporting.

Thanks, Adolfo.

Hopefully a fix for this will cause other end users to receive an update prompt, if they have a previous Alpha installed.

Cheers,

Chris

worksforme - the different playstore variants have different IDs, so they won't replace each other - but upcoming updates will properly replace the corresponding version (a update is coming soon, stay tuned :-))
