Created attachment 113659 [details]
screenshot of the options/view window

tested with 4.4.0.3

this may be the same cause as bug 75175 but the screenshots there show too few vertical space.

Problem: the "LibreOffice/view" settings window is too narrow. if I make the window wider it fits, but it is not saved for the next time I open the settings. This makes trying out new icon sets very hard (sadly there is no "apply the changes now" button).

how to reproduce: In Writer, open the options via the menu, click "view"

This is under KDE plasma 4.

... and the same happens on another computer with KDE plasma 5.

... and the same happens at my main computer with TWM. That's all now, sorry I cannot find "edit" here.

Should I blame Bugzilla’s search UI for being ugly, or users for not using it? This bug has collected many duplicates even after it was fixed. Oh well…

Thank you!

Grrr, so this report was wasted time. I used the search, otherwise I would not have found bug 75175 . Yes, bugzilla is ... ugly.
