Word doc that doesn't open correctly in Writer 4.4.0.3

I have a MS Word .doc with an imbedded spreadsheet (as a "Picture(Enhanced Metafile)"). The picture displays without the text when this doc is opened in Writer 4.4.0.3, but works correctly when opened with Writer 4.3.5.2. I've attached the doc.

Can you provide a pdf of what you get with 4.3 and 4.4? For 4.4 it looks substantially better than 4.2 but I'd like to see what you are seeing with 4.3. Marking as NEEDINFO. Once you attach the two PDF's please set to UNCONFIRMED. Thanks!

Joel, I've attached 3 pdf's. The way it looks in 4.4, 4.3 and finally in MS Word. 4.3 almost works, but neither 4.3 or 4.4 display the imbedded image correctly.

Joel, I did the copy and paste using Libre Office Calc and Libre Office Writer 4.4.0.3 and the end product .doc file opens and looks correct in both Libre Office Writer and MS Word.
Comment 7 Joel Madero 2015-02-18 23:34:44 UTC
Interesting - I don't see that in 4.4.0.3 release on Ubuntu 14.10 x64.

Attaching what I see.

Mine are all done on Win7 Ultimate fully up to date. My 4.4 and 4.3 results are consistently the same with uninstall and reinstalls of both versions on LibreOffice. Could there be a problem that is Windows only?
