OH!! There is one other thing, not a bug, but would be REALLY REALLY NICE to have, & that is a user-selectable highlight background color to highlight the row and column of the currently selected cell. This makes it easier 2 C which items correspond 2 the cell being edited, etc. This very OBVIOUS AND USEFUL feature was STANDARD in things like the older 'Quatro Pro' & some others, and should be offered as an option (that I am absolutely certain everybody would LOVE if it were enabled by default) in Libre Office Calc =) I would not choose something really severe, but a modest color as the default, like if they have a really light theme, use a beige color, or if it's dark, a greyish color, & so on. Another option would be to highlight the LINES on both sides of the column and row corresponding to the cell that is selected. This NEW feature you can ADD to your program would make it much more useful as the TOOL that it SHOULD be =D DOWN WITH JELLYBEAN SKIN BULL$HIT! UP WITH FUNCTIONALITY! HOORAY! If you file *specific* bugs (i.e., one per each issue), you use proper, respectful language, and you register to FreedomSponsors (see https://freedomsponsors.org/search/?project_id=149&operation=SPONSOR), we will be able to process and take action properly. But please RESIST THE URGE TO SHOUT and cramp a lot of unrelated stuff into one single Bugzilla ticket - otherwise it'd be unefficient to track the progress of each work item. Read this and take it into consideration: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html Thank you. It's an all or nothing thing. If ALL the CLEARLY LABELED 5 bugs, numbered ONE THROUGH FIVE get fixed, THEN the thing is worth money and useful. If not, then it really isn't. If the Libre Office people or those who can mod the code are not able to do this, then clearly this is a good candidate for an IndeGoGo campaign or something to make a 'spreadsheet word processor' hybrid program FROM SCRATCH =) It would not need N E function capability ~ at most some adding and subtracting, so can count page lengths and totals. If anybody else wants to split these bugs into separate 'tickets' by all means feel free, but they are all inter related things that are extremely important AS A GROUP. These are the central defining bugs that limit the usability and market penetration of all variants of Open Office. It is their 'Achiles Heel'.
