Confirmed. Daily Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF build for 2014-07-19 contained core05 package, but currently available Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF builds (I have checked 2014-07-29, 2014-08-08, and 2014-08-10) omit this package. Status set to NEW. Platform set to All as original report indicates x86. Summary amended for clarity. same applies to (on CentOS7) master~2014-08-21_00.23.28_LibreOfficeDev_4.4.0.0.alpha0_Linux_x86-64_rpm.tar.gz I checked master~2014-08-21_00.23.28_LibreOfficeDev_4.4.0.0.alpha0_Linux_x86-64_rpm.tar.gz master~2014-08-21_23.23.16_LibreOfficeDev_4.4.0.0.alpha0_Linux_x86-64_rpm.tar.gz master~2014-08-23_22.03.46_LibreOfficeDev_4.4.0.0.alpha0_Linux_x86-64_rpm.tar.gz master~2014-08-26_09.48.30_LibreOfficeDev_4.4.0.0.alpha0_Linux_x86-64_rpm.tar.gz Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF builds for 2014-08-18, 2014-08-21, 2014-08-26, 2014-08-30, and 2014-09-05 all omit this package. The package core05 is still missing from these DEBs. Best regards. JBF Putting Build system/gbuild experts (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/FindTheExpert) in cc + increase a bit the importance since the impact of this problem. let's CC some people who may know something about epm... (perhaps it would make sense to merge all these core* packages into one, probably the split exists only for hysteric reasons) (In reply to Michael Stahl from comment #9) > (perhaps it would make sense to merge all these core* packages into one, > probably the split exists only for hysteric reasons) I seem to remember that the hysteric reason was Windows not being able to have packages of arbitrary size back in the days. That might or might not have changed. for some reason (I'm too lazy too debug), the files that are meant to end up in the core05 package are packaged into the core04 one. Likely a minor syntax error somewhere. working on merging all the -core0x packages into a single "-core" one anyway. distro-packages might have to adapt slightly Christian Lohmaier committed a patch related to this issue. It has been pushed to "master": http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=6759a98f7b28e99b885aef9e78aed6bc225af992 fdo#82288 merge core01-core07 packages into just one Verified with my onw build of 4.4 alpha generating deb packages. Installation OK on a different machine. Thank you very much. Best regards. JBF |
