Created attachment 103330 [details] screenshot of test document with incorrect word count Problem description: While recording changes and when Edit → Changes → Show is ticked, the word count will accurately reflect (subtract) any provisionally deleted text but fail to account for the words in newly added text. Steps to reproduce: 1. open a new document 2. type "foo bar baz" 3. enable Edit → Changes → Record and Edit → Changes → Show 4. delete "baz" from the text and type in "qux" 5. check the word count Current behavior: total word count is 2 Expected behavior: total word count should be 3 Maybe this is on purpose, but I personally find it misleading -- if provisional deletions are accounted for, additions should be too. Operating System: openSUSE Version: 4.1.6.2 release
