Problem description:

Steps to reproduce:
1. Right click on a slide and choose Slide-Display Background of Master (or Display Objects from Master)

Current behavior:
It works but I cannot do it for all the slides in the presentation

Expected behavior:
It must be possible to apply the above options for all the slides globally

Inconvenient workaround: Create a blank master slide and apply it to all slides before printing.
Operating System: Windows 8
Version: 4.2.4.2 release

(Fixing misclassification and too broad title.)

Sounds like a reasonable request -> NEW.

In 6.3 I don't see this item in slide context menu. May be it already wontfix now?
Heiko?

Sidebar: Properties > Master Slide > [x] Master Objects
Menu: Slide > [x] Master Objects

Put a shape on the master and uncheck the option - this hides the shape but only for the current slide. (It requires to change the slide to update the view)

Question to me is whether we really want an option to disable master settings for all slides. Wouldn't for such a use case rather the master be changed?

Btw, we removed the dialog whether a background image is applied to this or all slides, see bug 112650.
