Regards, Cor sorry > WORKSFORME It is valid to generate an outline numbering via the 'Outline & Numbering' tab of a paragraph or a paragraph style. That is the only way, to get two different outline numberings into one document, e.g one for the normal text and another for the appendix. The current behavior needs improvement, because you need to manually keep outline level and list level in sync. Therefore I disagree with the solution "worksforme".
