Description Alexander Wilms 2014-02-04 14:02:43 UTC
In the German version, there's no separate singular translation, so it reads "1 Wörter"
Comment 1 tommy27 2014-02-05 05:34:08 UTC
yes, if you type "hello", you see:

1 words, 5 character.

anyway it doesn't look that important since I think not may people deals with "just 1 word" files, so I don't think it's worth the fix.

I set status to NEW and ask advise from developers if they thonk we should move this to WONTFIX

Taking :-). Sounds like fun.
Comment 3 Jorendc 2014-02-24 09:46:17 UTC
I have a patch right now which I can't push (probably due the fact I'm at school, and some ports are blocked).

Will push it later :).

Ok, If Jorendc has already a fix is welcome.

Please see the arguments on my commit by Andras T. https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/8208/

Looks like it is very difficult translator-wise. And the benefit will also be pretty low (as Tommy said: the chance a document does contain only 1 word or 1 character is pretty small).

Sorry :), I'll mark it as RESOLVED WONTFIX (although I had fun try to fix it :) )

Kind regards,
Joren
