Problem description:
Inserting a bibliography entry requires one to select the corresponding short name of a publication from a drop down menu. Only when one has selected one, the author and title are being displayed. I think it would simplyfy things if the dropdown showed both author and title.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Click Edit > Indexes and Tables > Insert Bibliography entry
2. Wonder what's the correct short name

Current behavior:
Use trial and error to find out

Expected behavior:
Have an overview that allows choosing the correct publication immediately

This is a very worthwhile improvement IMO. The citation (bibliography entry) details shown in the Word screenshot says it all. Status set to NEW. Fabian should this be an enhancement?

An alternative solution that might be useful in case one uses a lot of cited works is a searchable list: http://gigapple.files.wordpress.com/2009/07/pages-inserting-citation.jpg?w=590&h=483

Well, it's not "broken", so I'd say it counts as an enhancement.

I'm a bit opposed to having it show exactly as in Word, as I often work with documents that have tens and tens of references (quite usual in academia, I suppose) and if each entry in the list would span 2+ rows, it would make it difficult to handle.

A searchable list would be just about excellent, though.
