Workaround I found this by accident 1. Copy some random text, 2. Paste it in the slide that doesn't want to be edited, Then you can edit that text. You can add another 'textbox'? One textbox for editing in the body, another for the 'header'? up top Please attach problematic document. Created attachment 89637 [details]
.pp file with create slides issues
This is the .pp file with create slides issues. Renamed everything to 'cheese' for privacy concerns. But same issue occurs.
Per this comment on ask.libreoffice.org, I was asked to see if i could "..change "slide layout" (Format>Slide Layout...)? Maybe it is on "blank slide"?" Every "New Slide" I make, it automatically gets the "Blank Slide". Selecting layout: "Slide, Content", i can now edit my Slides again. This fixes my problem. Source: http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/26408/cant-edit-new-slides/ Ubuntu 14.04 x64 LibreOffice 4.2.5.2 release Downloaded file, opened with Presentation, was able to edit every slide, insert a new slide, and edit that one. Closing as WFM. If you can confirm this probelm on 4.2.5.2 release please set to UNCONFIRMED and give additional information about what you're trying to edit.
