Brief video example of the save loop
I forgot to set the file type.
did you try modify the auto-save time? do things change if you set the value from 2 minutes to 4 minutes? please, indicate which LibO release do you experience the bug. did the bug appear even in previous version? I did not experience it in previous versions, and only after changing the save time. I will set my preferences to save every four minutes and see if I still experience the bug. |
Created attachment 88661 [details] Brief video example of the save loop Since I set my preferences to save every two minutes, I have experienced this bug both on Writer and Calc. It occurs when I am working on a document that I have not yet saved. Out of nowhere, in the middle of editing a document, LibreOffice suddenly begins saving repeatedly. A lot of CPU power is used; the system fans come on while this is occurring. The problem can be stopped immediately if one chooses File - Save As, but sometimes the program will not let you do that. I do not know the precise steps to reproduce this bug, but I will post them here if I find them.
