Hi, Are you sure that it works for you with 4.1.0 but not with 4.1.1? There are plenty of similar reports against 4.1.0 too, see Bug 67534. Merging issues. Do not hesitate to reopen in case of mistriage. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 70345 *** |
Problem description: Steps to reproduce: 1. .... 2. .... 3. .... Current behavior: If you double click on any office file on a network share, you get a file locked error. However if you click open with and select the assigned program for a double click, the file opens. Expected behavior: File should open normally if not locked by another user. Noticed this on Windows 7 accessing files on a netware server. However the same file accessed via Win Xp with same software version works correctly. Operating System: Windows 7 Version: 4.1.1.2 rc Last worked in: 4.1.0.4 release
