Picture comparing the Formatting toolbar in Writer and the Text Formatting toolbar in Impress

In Writer, there's a Styles and Formatting icon and drop-down list to the left of the font list. This allows for toggling the display of the Styles and Formatting sub-window, and also lets folk apply a style to the selected text. These are not present in Impress. Instead, one has to either know to press F11 to get the appropriate Styles and Formatting window up, or select Format > Styles and Formatting. This is inconsistent and makes things more difficult in Impress. (screenshot attached showing the difference)

Could we add in the icon and style drop-down into the Text Formatting toolbar by default? Then it would match that of Writer.

Also, is there a reason why it's called the "Formatting" toolbar in Writer but "Text Formatting" in Impress? This also seems inconsistent.

Enhancement request.

This is no longer valid now that the formatting toolbar is off by default in impress, but even if it was still there, the sidebar is open by default (unlike in writer) which would be the easiest way to get to styles and not by going to the formatting toolbar.
