Description m_a_riosv 2012-08-28 23:29:33 UTC
IMHO, the behavior of references must be always the same, in
cells, functions, names ranges, data ranges, moving or inserting or deleting
cells/columns/rows, in any place in the spreadsheet where references are used.

For example in Menu/Data/Consolidate, the consolidate ranges don't change even when inserting a row/column in it.

This hidden behavior, what you can't know where it happens, are the worst in spreadsheet beside hidden regressions. Because you can get different results than expected, without knowing it.

Maybe not easy to implement but a target for sooner than later.
And it can make life easier for developers.

Dear Reporter,
it seems this request was filled long time ago.
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
