Test kit for original report

PDF export from WRITER is completely unusable with Server installation of Master "LibO-dev 3.5.0 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) English UI [(Build ID: 3b32204-7f92fce-2ba0a9f)]"

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open "sample1.odt" from attached TestLit_New_MailWithoutContents.zip
2. Export to PDF with reduced quality (jpg, 90%, 30dspi), no frills
   Expected: looks like .odt (so it is with 3.4.3)
   Actual: Most of contents missing, no correct PDF syntax (may be)

In the test kit you find some results from a e-mail mail merge attemppt to 4 recipients. PDF Contents seems to be random controlled, AR X will not open all documents.

Worked fine with WIN Master Build ID:
	d337f79-a24c961-2865670-9752b71-7f8fd43
	2fdd60d-fd28b6a-fd7bf20-aa369cb-28da3fb

	82ff335-599f7e9-bc6a545-1926fdf

Problem visible in some Master builds from 2011-08-26 and later

I am not sure to understand well what the problem is. Here is the result of my test with master I compiled yesterday (2011-09-04).
Build ID: 00fabc1-3f8994a-2ba0a9f-f39398e

@Jean-Baptiste Faure:
Your document looks fine. You tested with what OS?
Comment 4 Stefan Knorr (astron) 2011-11-24 04:20:12 UTC
I can't reproduce this on 64-bit Linux (exported document looks like Jean-Baptiste's), so setting Platform picker to 32-bit Windows only.

Build: compiled from git master, November 23, 2011. No Java, no Mozilla. (I'm too lazy too reenter the build ID, for some reason it won't just copy/paste.)
Comment 5 Caolán McNamara 2011-12-01 08:17:32 UTC
works for me (tm) under Linux. I wonder if this is a duplicate of the (should be fixed) temp file name collisions under Windows.
Comment 6 Roman Eisele 2011-12-01 08:25:59 UTC
Just for the record:

NOT reproducible on MacOS X 10.6.8 German
using LibO-dev 3.5.0
Build ID: 549f928-b211287-090bcba-45cf606
built date: 2011-12-01
no langkit installed (default UI language)

For me, exporting the sample ODT file gives a fine PDF looking like the original ODT document – just like Jean-Baptiste Faure’s one.

Therefore, this bug must be either platform specific (as Astron has already suggested) or it was fixed by the way in the newer master builds.

Works fine with Server installation of  Master "LibO-dev 3.5.0 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) ENGLISH UI [Build ID: 130028f-b211287-090bcba-45cf606-05891e7]" Win-x86@9-Voreppe - 111130)

WFM, I will watch that issue

Sorry for the late reply, I don't know why I was not in cc list of this bug report.
My OS is Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64.
Best regards. JBF
