Hi :) Confirmed in Ubuntu 10.04 with LibreOffice 3.3.2 (from the PPAs). It also happens the same in Excel but it's inconsistent internally. The same thing happens when trying to copy from other apps, such as Writer. The value is only posted to the top cell of the selection. Regards from Tom :) [This is an automated message.] This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases. Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1 more detail on this bulk operation: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/RFC-Operation-Spamzilla-tp3607474p3607474.html Reproduced in 3.5.0 on Fedora 64 bit I agree that it is inconsistency. In Writer we can select some cell in table and paste text there, it appears in all selected cells. In Calc only in first cell. Same behavior in Writer, if you copy the cell pasting into multiple selected cells duplicates. Pasting content from external tools such as an editor gives an error in Writer but alike Calc pastes into the first cell only. |
