I back the request, for all platforms. I'm in Linux, and the lack of this option gives me way more work any time I want to open a file. There are a number of situations where LO doesn't get or lose file associations so, IMHO, we users should be able to regain it when needed. Hi Everyone,
I think that it will be useful if we could _set/unset_ *after
installation* (from Tools -> Options menu -> Load/Save -> ..., of course) the
following capabilities:
- LibreOffice file associations (both proprietary ones and Open Document ones);
- LibreOffice file "open with" list (in Windows Explorer, Gnome Nautilus, KDE Dolphin, MacOS X Finder (?), ...) for each file type for which LibreOffice has a ("good" or usable or...) filter.
