Description Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2010-12-17 08:42:22 UTC
Shortcut expected text actual text comment
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cntrl+Y Restore Redo last action 1 2
Cntrl+Z Undo -text is missing- 2

1) For me "Redo" means "do again", what is quite different from "restore". It seems Help only repeats the misleading "Redo" from menu "Edit" and Icon.

2) Spreadsheet also affected, may be other applications, too

Please also see Bug 32472! I saw Wikihelp bug during my investigations for this Bug, I did not check Help text systematically.

BTW: Sort order of the table items takes getting used to, I prefer the sort order in menu 'Tools -> Customize -> Keyboard', what should be kept here, too.

'Redo' is the common name for the opposite of 'Undo', so 'Restore' is misleading. I've fixed the other bug this way, so I'd prefer to close this one too :-)

May be it's common, but I doubt that it's correct. Or means to "refill" an ink cartridge to drain ink? ;-)
