Keep Pdfimport feature even if it means the way it is now. Inkscape have import pdf function like the one it is now in LibreOffice only difference it is that LibreOffie import pdf extension imports all pages of the pdf. If Inkscape retains this basic function then OpenOffice must have same function.

Some people argeu to not include Pdfimport in final release , if pdf import it is in Inkscape final realease then why not in LibreOffice 3.3 ?

My argument it is simple and effective, users need to use the tools.

If some developers argue then the developer must remeber what OpenSource means and the spirit behind it.

Give the option tu user to chose to install or not the Pdfimport function , it is easy and effective. For the ones that are in a corporation and for the users that needs pdfimport funciton for editing some documents that are only sent in pdf from official institutions and some dates must be modified like : age , sex, date, etc.

An installer with option to install or not , Pdfimport and other extension it is the midle option and the best one. Erasing a feature cause someon narowmind think only with his/her boss mind it is not representing the comunity and the opensource spirit.

LibreOffice it is opensource then keep the spirit opensource. Let the user chose his options and read the GPL,L-GPL, license at the install.

I don't see any bug being reported here. Keep the meta-development discussion on the discuss@tdf list where it belongs and doesn't disturb developers.
