I disagree. It's your operating system (Windows 11) that decided that you need to be concerned about the extensions, not LibreOffice. LibreOffice associates itself with necessary extensions, without asking you. It is able to handle tens of file types; and then user needs not to know what they are - it's simply not needed. Without associating the defaults, nothing is broken ... so I don't see why a silly behavior of an operating system should force the community to do something to please the OS makers. But having a wiki with extension list would possibly be reasonable ... bye |
