1. Open attachment #188496 [details] from bug #156400 
2. "View" - "Masterslide"
3. Look in the lower left corner and see "Slide 47 of 1",
   also seen on the attached screenshot.
4. In the slide list scroll to the end, see how the display
   changes to "Slide 379 of 379".

Diagnosis: The display area for page numbers is too narrow; it should
obviously read "Slide 47 of 1".

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I could reproduce this.
