Why not define a page style for the first page (with printer settings) and another for the other pages then? I think using page styles is the cleaner and flexible solution. If you define two printers or trays you probably need to show on the print dialog. And then why not have dedicated settings for the last page, for colored pages vs. b/w, etc. We should not copy all failures Microsoft made in the past ;-). |
