Libre office 7.x running on Ubuntu 22.04 is extremely slow (Calc and Writter) on Dell Precision 5570 with i7, 32GB RAM and fast SSD.

Slow means e.g.:
- loading of simple 10-100 pages documents takes about 1 minute and more
- updating simple Calc sheet freezes the app for 10-30 seconds (no VLOOUPS, no crazy Excel tricks, just simple formulas +-*/)

Brief info about the system:

Version: 7.6.3.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community

I had to change version 7.6.4.1 because it got slow; when loading documents, selecting, copying and pasting, even the operating system was affected (kubuntu 24.10). With version 7.5.9,2 there is not so many problems with the same files and configuration. For the moment. Thank you.

kubuntu 23.10, sorry :)

There will be different performance issues depending on the file used.
Are you able to share a sample document that exhibits the issue?
