Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think in 24.8 at least, these are both the same dialog accessed through different paths. They both use the same HID and there is no mention of X.509. I'm getting: 1. File > Digital Signatures > Digital Signatures > Sign Document > Select Certificate 2 File > Save > Encrypt with GPG key > Save > Select Certificate Tested with: Version: 24.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 387a9c445793e8377f85e508d935dc070fd8ab74 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.8; UI render: default; VCL: x11 Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Would adding - some additional information that the page more relevant to encryption, and - a link to the "Encrypting Documents with OpenPGP" page solve the problem? Never mind. I'm blind. They are slightly. Thanks for looking into it, Dione! For the X.509 title, this issue is relevant: bug 155049. Ah. I see. Thanks. I think I should be able to get a separate page set up. Looks like the page could do with a little updating too. |
