It would be nice if, when playing with an object's position & size, you could see how it would look after resizing. Now, the dialog itself hides much of the slide, but it could be nice if you could see a small preview - perhaps only with a plain bounding rectangle representing the object - of the position and size of the re-positioned & resized object on the slide.

Don't see the benefit. But as we aim for a certain UI pattern with three columns consisting of (extendable) presets, attributes, and preview it sounds not too far-fetched either. Opinions?

We discussed the topic in the design meeting.

The idea is to show the effect of input in relation to the slide. And while it has only little benefit such a preview is always appreciated and good design anyway.
