Preparation:

Format a table so that it fits your purpose in order to select it as a template:
    • 2 columns with specified widths.
    • The table should appear centered
    • Preset Page Break Behavior.
    • 3 mm space below the table.

Steps to reproduce

1. Select the whole table

2. use Styles>Manage Styles>Table Formats, then Style Actions>New Style from Selection and name it “2SpZentr”. 

result: It is listed among the table formats. However, I can't modify it after I select it.

If I apply it to another table with the same number of columns, it the format seems to be attached (such that the table is shown as assigned to it), but it does not really work on the selected table.

It looks like templates for tables being almost 100% non-functional.

I think it's a duplicate of bug 105933. Feel free to change it back to UNCONFIRMED with a short reasning, if you disagree.
