The "UPPERCASE", "lowercase", and "Capitalize Every Word" items of the Text menu are links to respective section in Font Effects help page ( https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/en-US/text/shared/01/05020200.html?&DbPAR=WRITER#hd_id3149575 ). This is wrong: these commands are implemented by replacing actual characters in the text, not by applying a formatting. This creates a wrong expectation, that these are formatting rather than editing commands.

Only "Small capitals" in that menu applies the respective font effect.

The wrong links should be removed from the help.

Confirmed in https://help.libreoffice.org/7.5/en-US/text/shared/submenu_text.html

Testing has shown that the commands, UPPERCASE/lowercase/Capitalize Every Word in Format no longer link to external help page. These features now change the case of the selected text, respectively as of version 24.2.1

(In reply to John from comment #3)

Testing? Nothing changed; the menu help page has moved to https://help.libreoffice.org/24.2/en-US/text/shared/menu/submenu_text.html, but its content is the same, with the discussed items still linked to the unrelated "Font Effects" page.
