sample for writer table bug
this document contains 2 table problems to solve
Just to make sure you haven't missed the existing functionality: 1. Did you check the table properties' Text Flow tab, with its "Break" checkbox and related settings (that for table, substitute respective settings of a paragraph)? 2. Did you check the help page describing how to add a new paragraph after a table [1]: > Alt+Enter Insert a new paragraph directly before or after a section or table. > > For sections, the cursor must be placed at the first or last character. > For tables, the cursor must be placed at the first character of the first > cell or the last character of the last cell. Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! Warm Regards, QA Team MassPing-NeedInfo-Ping hi there, please sorry for late answer, i don't follow this forum often. first @Mike Kaganski Today I played with the table settings. You're right, I can remove the page break by unchecking the Break checkbox, but that's not very intuitive. In all other cases, I can remove the break by pressing "del" after the last character on the previous page. Why isn't that possible when the first page on the following page is a table? for future i know now, how to remove the page wrap in this case. thank you. @all Did you think, it should be possible to add a function to remove the page wrap in this case by pressing del after last char on previous page ? (for more intuitive usage) Downloaded the example file. Set cursor into the third table (page 2). Right mouse click → Table Properties → Text Flow Text Flow → Break [unchecked] → OK Page break has been removed. Couldn't find any buggy behavior here. Page break set by a table has a usability problem. See for examples the bugs 149002, 149825, 92363, 74290, 81810, 89650. A 'Wontfix' or 'Workforme' of 'Notabug' does not help. The problem is not, that something is not possible, but that their exist no intuitive way and behavior is different from the behavior for paragraphs.
